These are our favourite period undies - they're affordable which make them to try out before investing lots of $, they're comfortable, easily washed and dried and best of all, THEY ACTUALLY WORK!!
 
I've been using period undies to manage my cycle for the last few years and I feel so so grateful that they exist! When I think back to all the anxiety that came with using pads and tampons (Eek, am I leaking? Do I smell? Love Luna is my go-to brand because they are great quality, but also affordable that you can try a few different styles to see which you love the most. 
I like that the design of the waistband and hems are firm (to prevent leaks), but still soft that they don't dig in, unlike some other brands I've tried.
I find that they're pretty true to size, but that there's a good amount of stretch to them which is awesome if you fluctuate during your cycle (eg I'm a bit smaller that a 14 but definitely not a 12, and yet the 12-14 size fits perfectly).
 
Each style has a different 'flow' rating.  I stock the below options:
 
Bikini - Standard 'undie' style, these have a softer lace hem than the Midi style. Available in black with soft cotton gusset and microfibre outer (which is super quick drying) and Dahlia (navy & rose pattern) which is full 95% cotton, 5% elastane with the 100% cotton gusset that is standard for Love Luna. Absorbency: 2-3 regular tampons
 
Midi - A sportier style that sits a bit lower on the hips (closer to but not quite a boy-leg) with soft cotton gusset and microfibre outer (which is super quick drying).  Available in Black, Terracotta (bronzy-orange) & Chambray (dusky-blue). Absorbency: 2-3 regular tampons
 
Bamboo - My personal favourite as they provide protection waistband-to-waistband, right the way from front to back! Great for front bleeders and night-time especially. V shaped hem at front makes it suitable for maternity too. Cotton gusset and soft bamboo outer. Black only. Absorbency: 3-4 regular tampons
 
Full Brief - A higher level of absorbancy than the bikini and midi styles with 2/3 of the way to the waistband.  These are high-waisted (near belly button) in soft cotton material with a comfortable waistband. Available in Plum Pink!  Absorbency: 3-4 regular tampons
 
Super - Don't like the idea of having to change undies at the office? These are your new best friend. High waisted and comfortable cotton with an incredible HEAVY absorbancy of 5-6 regular tampons! (yes you read that right!) These will go all day for a heavy or regular flow, or also can be worn with a cup if your flow is super heavy.  Bonus of this style is that it can handle a 'gush' flow too. Black only
